RESISTANCE I had a very brief conversation over the weekend about a podcast a friend had heard on resistance and in it was stating that resistance comes from our coping mechanisms – true, and therefore we do not sabotage ourselves – hmmm 🤔 ..... This peaked my interest and my ears pricked up at this point as It is my belief that some resistance can be a form of self-sabotage and creates a lot of our limitations as it’s part of our subconscious programming coming from our wounding from childhood. We created strategies for protection from repeating this wounding. This helps us cope with uncomfortable emotions and decrease the side effects of stress and anxiety when triggered into our flight or fight response. They become our default and we fall back into our childhood feelings and coping styles that sabotage our adult life and this is what we need to heal. Once we are in our fight or flight survival mode we are fully in the past and in our inner child wounding, reacting from past experiences and not what is currently going on. As the lines from my “Shit Show Vs Calm and Flow” poem say’s “Your survival brain creates walls to protect you that are built on soft ground that only serve to neglect you!” and “Your mind will tell you stories when you are in this place, it’s only an illusion to keep you safe” 🥰 …. Once we become aware of these patterns of resistance we are empowered to make different choices and respond in a way that serves us rather than reacting from our coping mechanisms that sabotage us.💫🌟💫 Do you need help in taking your power back from feeling stuck in the past and unable to move forward? You may take people who are cold or closed off personally and as a rejection but nothing is ever personal, it's just a reflection on how open and connected they are to themselves. If you take it as a rejection then go inwards and look at your self worth ❤ there will be wounding there for you to heal ❤

Shit Show Vs Calm and Flow I want to normalise the highs and the lows Of being in the Shit Show Vs Calm and Flow It’s OK to feel fear And not know where to go Emotion is Energy and it’s desire is to Flow If you get stuck in the mind And trying to control You will feel the resistance It’s time to let go Your mind will tell you stories When you are in this place But it’s only an illusion To keep you SAFE Take a deep breath Patience is a Virtue And Trust the Process The survival brain creates walls to protect you That are built on soft ground That only serve to neglect you Abandoning your unique self to avoid conflict Only brings imbalance to your mind and body Is it worth it? REFLEXOLOGY is an incredably relaxing treatment to receive... Did you know the nerve endings from the body’s organs and areas of the body end in the soles of the feet. Through manipulation of these reflex points, signals are transported through these nerve endings to the spine (central nervous system) and out to the corresponding organ, gland or muscle, where blocked energy is released bringing balance back into the body’s systems. As there is a mind/body connection as you release and balance out tension in the body, you also release and balance out tension in the mind and after a treatment clients tend to report to have an overall feeling of calm, peace and tranquility from the inside out.
